Thats all i'v been hearing. Most consumers will not look into it no futher than the demo pods. This 360 isn't next-gen; is stupid; even the kids know the 360 is just an canvus for the dev's, people know what's comming for the 360 and the PS3 multi-plat and exclusivly. It's like saying PS3's not next-gen because of Genji and the flying car game.
Don't have to watch DVD's on a game console, and i can wait for a bigger hard drive. HD-DVD is king, Blu-ray is already finished. PS3 is the machine that keeps Blu-ray alive while BR is in a vegatative state.
WAITING to purchase the PS3?, waiting to see what it can do first is more realalistic. Word of Mouf is speading around to the general public fast. The web isn't real life. $600 bucks to a non hardcore fanboy, is ridiculous. If is wasn't for the "SONY" name brand it would go the way of Neo-Geo with a quikness and it offered far better games; the PS3 has almost all the same games as 360.

"Now" back on topic this "Jez San" guy is living in a dream world, Sony sold most when their console's when the 14 year old boy was able to convince his mommy to pick up an PS2 for around $250 of less. It don't matter what you guy's say if you have two products that perform the same the consumer will buy the cheaper product 95% of the games will be on both console's. lol

Yesterday was the third time in the last month where a kid trading PS2 games has told me i was lucky because i had an 360. No one can afford a Xbox360; at least the crowd that will determan the winner. Every time i go to a game shop i bring up the PS3 and the employee's say no way it's too expensive and say Sony really messed up, if their's people around they agree with what me and the game shop workers say. How exactly will PS3 win?. KIDZ THAT HAVE PS2's WAN'T 360 BUT IT'S OBVIOUS THEIR PARE...

The need to compete will keep the Wii alive for a while because of 12-14 year olds will think that technoligy is the greatest and comptition will fuel desire to play it. A few drunken office parties here and there will fill in the gap among adults. Maybe "some" families that have time; we will see.
No one will come home from work and wave the Wiimote around for Hours? just to work more after work. Young kids will play for an half an Hour before going our side to play.lol. It might be an fade for drunken parties for a year or two. I could be wrong but me gut feelings have never been wrong; NEVER!.
Why would the PS3 be any different from the PS2 game wise?; PS3 will have boat loads of games just like it's father. Generation wise it's main competition will have the backing of the Dev's that it didn't last generation.

I play games sometimes and have an prefference for the 360 style feel and the games. So i fall under the fake gamer, I'm not a true gamer either; and it hurts; i wish we lived in a world where all player were treated the same. sniff sniff soab...
Anyways it's seems this generation will be, "BR" Movie watching with free online access -vs- Movie watching(DIRRECT TV) through movie channel over live and solid multi player. 95% of the games will be on both PS3 and X360.

I know his type, we use to have these huge game gatherings in Boise ID. with 60 TV's and half were PS2 and the other Xbox1, the PS fans refused to give xbox the time a day, mean-while we had wemen, old people and non gamers glued to the xbox events while the PS events had the usaul pale geeky haters.
